Scarlett Scott

Historical Romance

Scarlett’s debut novel was published in 2010. Since then, she has become a wife, a mother to identical twins and one naughty dog, and a killer karaoke singer (or so she pretends). Tamsen Schultz

Mystery

Tamsen Schultz is the author of the romantic suspense Windsor Series and the short story, American Kin. She’s an RWA Daphne Du Maurier Excellence in Mystery finalist and three time finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association annual contest.

In addition to being a writer, she has a background in the field of international conflict resolution, has co-founded a non-profit, and currently works in corporate America. Like most lawyers, she spends a disproportionate amount of time thinking (and writing) about what it might be like to do something else.

She lives in a small rural town, not far from Napa, full of males including her husband, two teenage sons, four cats, a dog, and a gender-neutral, but well-stocked, wine rack.

Annabelle Anders

Historical Romance | Contemporary Romance

Married to the same man for over 25 years, I am a mother to three children and two Miniature Wiener dogs.

After owning a business and experiencing considerable success, my husband and I got caught in the financial crisis and lost everything; our business, our home, even our car. At this point, I put my B.A. in Poly Sci to use and took work as a waitress and bartender.

Unwilling to give up on a professional life, I simultaneously went back to college and obtained a degree in Energy Management. And then the energy market dropped off. And then my dog died. I can only be grateful for this series of unfortunate events, for, with nothing to lose and completely demoralized, I sat down and began to write the romance novels which had until then, existed only in my imagination.

I am happy to have found my place in life. Finally. Click here for more.

Suzanne Tierney

Historical Romance

WHETHER it’s restlessness, wanderlust, or train fever, I love stories about journeys. So that’s what I write – books steeped in the lush details of history that tell of heroines thoroughly devoted to their sense of place, even when it’s the wrong place and the heroes who catapult, challenge and cherish those heroines, even when they have no intention of setting down roots.

FROM your arm chair, your train carriage, your vivid imagination, come and join me on the ultimate adventure.

Tim Sabados

Suspense | Thriller | Supernatural

Tim Sabados has been an emergency room nurse for over eleven years and a part time paramedic for nineteen. A native born Detroiter having interests in painting, sculpture and drawing, it was only natural that he turned to creative writing to fulfill that artistic gap formed by the excessive amount of technical writing required of him during nursing school.

His influences in fiction have come from interests in various mystical concepts and the many unusual situations presented to him during his medical career. More importantly, his writing strays from any one single genre, but instead blends them together to create a literary experience that allows a vibrant mental journey, and the ability to contemplate the multi-faceted aspects of life. Something he feels the reader will find enjoyable on top of an entertaining story.  Click here for more

Diana Bold

Historical Romance – Victorian & Western

All my life, I’ve wanted to be a writer. Even as a child, my sister claims all I ever did was sit in my closet and scribble in a notebook. Now, I concede the scribbling part, but not the closet part! Why would I need to sit in my closet when I had a perfectly good desk? In any event, I won my first writing contest when I was seven, and I was hooked! I married young, and soon had three wonderful little boys running around the house, so writing took a backseat for several years as I worked a variety of jobs that I hated. Once I started seriously pursuing a writing career, I found it was not as easy as I had expected, and I was not the prodigy I had imagined. But I joined a writer’s group, and made a ton of writing friends along the way who showed me the error of my ways and unselfishly helped me to get a little better. By the time I sold my first book in 2006, I’d already been at this for over ten years and was about ready to give up. Rejection is hard!!! But holding that first book in my hands made it all worth it! Now my sons are all grown up, and two of them have babies of their own, and being a grandma rocks! I now have all the time in the world to devote to telling the stories that just won’t let me sleep. I hope you enjoy them. Click here for more.

Brynn Hochman

Children’s Picture Books

I’m Brynn Hochman, the author of children’s picture rhyming  book, The Perfect Swish.  I am currently a 17 year-old high school student living with my family in Los Angeles, CA. This story was inspired by my experiences in overcoming my own fears and watching others do the same through the work of my family (since I was 8 years old) raising money and delivering thousands of wheelchairs to people all over the world.  During one trip to Vietnam, I met a little boy who was initially very fearful about being in his new wheelchair.  Up until that time, he had been carried by his family or was moved by them on a blanket or in a wheelbarrow.  I watched as the little boy was placed in what seemed to be a foreign object. He looked terrified to move.  This all changed when the boy’s older (fully mobile) brother walked up and whispered something in his little brother’s ear. The little boy’s eyes suddenly lit up and he started using all of his strength  to maneuver and move the wheelchair on his own.  It was this boy’s strength and determination and the love and support of his family and friends that made me want to write a children’s book with this universal message.  The Perfect Swish is about Rabbit,  who with his friends, Bear, Cheetah, Monkey and Kanga, learn the lessons of strength, love, friendship and overcoming one’s fears.

Life happened. New paths were taken, and she’s finally escaped most of the rat race to dream up sexy fantasy worlds where the characters are guaranteed a Happily Ever After, or at least a Happy For Now! And since she’s busy, she appreciates stories that get right to the point!

He has published travel and humor in local markets and writes an occasional blog/column for the Naples (Florida) Daily News. He lives in Michigan with his wife Barbara, and their Aussie shepherd, Skylar.

Roger Greene

Middle-Grade

R.L. Greene loves to create realistic characters with unforgettable personalities. Of course, they invariably turn on him around chapter two and won’t let him have any say about their lives after that. While he’s come to accept the fact that he’s just the guy that does all the typing, he very much resents that he routinely gives life to selfish, inconsiderate almost people that have no gratitude. Roger believes in things like redemption, reconciliation, and forgiveness and forces his ungrateful characters to get along with each other whether they like it or not. In the end, he will occasionally admit that his characters told a better story than he ever would have come up with on his own – but not always – because why should they get all the credit?
